 Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor (EGFR)는 transmembrane protein 으로 cell proliferation 및  survival과 apoptosis에 관여하는 역할을 합니다.  EGFR의 과 발현이나 돌연변이는 특히 폐암과 관련이 있는데 EGFR의 790번 amino acid의 threonine (T) 에서 methionine (M)으로 대체가 되었기 때문입니다.  T790의 돌연변이를 가지고 있는 환자들은 EGFR tyrosine kinase inhibitor 치료제에 저항성을 가지고 있어 T790의 정확한 정량은 치료제 결정에 중요한 단서를 제공하게 됩니다.

Clarity™ EGFR T790M Mutation Quantification Kit는 ready-to-use로 구성된 시약으로 Clarity™ digital PCR system에 맞게 제공함 으로써 human plasma or serum에서 T790M mutant DNA의 고감도의 정확한 정량을 가능하게 합니다.
