GelCount는 3-D 배지에서 형성된 colony를 count 할 수 있는 bench top system입니다. Stained/Unstained, adherent/non-adherent colony를 모두 counting할 수 있습니다. 방사능, 화학약물 등이 cell viability에 미치는 영향을 측정하기 위한 장비로, 재현성 있고 객관적인 데이터의 획득이 가능합니다. 실험대위에 올려놓고 사용하는 컴팩트한 사이즈의 장비로, 다양한 3-D 배지에서 생장하는 colony를 counting 합니다. 이 때, cell의 염색여부, 흡착 여부와 관계없이 counting이 가능하다는 장점이 있습니다.
Gelcount는 clonogenic, cell survival, tumor cloning, colony forming assay등 다양한 범위에서의 colony counting이 가능합니다. 이를 통해 colony counting 시간을 획기적으로 절약할 수 있고, particle등으로 인해 발생하는 background로부터의 확실한 구별을 통해 human error를 제거할 수 있습니다. 데이터는 Excel과 호환이 가능하고 다양한 raw data가 제공되기 때문에 분석이 용이합니다. |

Multi-well plate는 simple zoom과 panning control을 통해 모든 구역을 한 well 씩 image 확인이 가능하며 close-up을 하여도 high resolution으로 colony detection의 객관적인 image를 얻을 수 있습니다. 또한 Detection된 colony는 red (Size marker)로 강조가 됩니다. 이때 계수된 colony와 평균지름과 같은 통계자료는 왼쪽에 요약되어 보여집니다. |

Colony count 뿐만 아니라 colony size로 통계 분포 집합을 계산하여 histogram format을 통해 보여지게 됩니다. Histogram date는 bitmap 또는 Excel로 전송이 가능합니다.
